Youssoufa Moukoko: Man United target demands ridiculous signing on fee from Borussia Dortmund – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United target Youssoufa Moukoko Borussia Dortmund’s negotiations over a contract extension have taken another turn.

Yesterday it was reported that Barcelona have all but been left out of the race for Moukoko, with the German’s wage demands being a major sticking point.

Barca can’t pay Moukoko’s salary, so they can’t accept him in January.

As well as paying Moukoko what he wants, any club willing to accept him will likely have to part with a sum of around €30m.

However, this fee is likely to be further reduced with Dortmund desperate to sell their star to avoid losing him for free six months from now.

Borussia Dortmund have offered the striker a new deal, although the two sides still have some way to go to reach a compromise.

There is still a significant gap in valuation between Moukoko’s demands and what Dortmund bosses are willing to offer the 18-year-old.

Sky Germany reporter Sven Westerschulze says that in addition to salaries, Dortmund and Moukoko’s representatives are also in conflict over the player’s signing fee.

Westerschulze broadcasts: “The poker around Youssoufa Moukoko keeps failing.”

“Not only the different salary expectations are a sticking point in the negotiations with Borussia Dortmund, but also the recruitment fee.”

“Moukoko is demanding more than 10 million euros. Too much from the point of view of Borussia Dortmund”.

United are unlikely to pay Moukoko a €10m signing fee, with the club struggling with cash amid an impending takeover. Such a fee, combined with the transfer figures and salary Moukoko would want, could put the German out of Ten Hag’s reach in January.
