According to reports such as Footmercato’s, Messi was absent from Argentina training today and a hamstring injury has been alleged as the reason.
This will worry many football fans around the world who would love to see the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner collect the only trophy he has yet to win on Sunday, as it became clear during the opening part of the Croatia game that the The 35-year-old man had a hamstring problem.
Messi was seen touching him at the start of the game and he wasn’t moving well, but he came to life after the penalty and everything seemed fine.

Others have dismissed the claims, claiming that no Argentine player who started the game against Croatia participated in today’s training and instead did gym work.
This could also be possible as now everything will be speculation and under a microscope before the final, especially the news about Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
