Wolves vs Arsenal: TV coverage plans

In Saturday’s Premier League offer, Wolves welcome Arsenal to Molineux, and US viewers will be able to watch it live with the following coverage plans.

Julen Lopetegui has been appointed as the new coach of Wolves to replace Bruno Lage. However, he will not be on the home bench on Saturday. The official employment of him begins on November 14.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are as settled a unit as can be. Mikel Arteta has everyone pulling in the same direction and the Gunners are desperate to reach the World Cup break at the top of the table.

The Gunners have suffered just one defeat and have been limited to a draw in the Premier League so far. Although they still have to face Manchester City, who are still a bit ahead of them as a team.

Wolves have been poor this term. In attack his talent has been practically non-existent. With just eight goals, Wolverhampton is the top scorer in the division.

It’s hard to see how this will change against a team as strong as Arsenal.

The Wolves are at the opposite end of the table from their opponents on Saturday. They are 19th and level on points with the lowest club, Nottingham Forest. Only a miraculous victory on Saturday could lift them out of the relegation zone before the World Cup.

Comparing Arsenal and Wolves’ recent form

Wolverhampton Wanderers have not won in the Premier League since October 15.

In their last five games they recorded a solitary victory against Nottingham Forest, but their success ended there. Since then Wolves have lost to Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Brighton. His last point came in a 1-1 draw against Brentford.

By comparison, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games. In those five, the Gunners have only dropped points in a 1-1 draw against Southampton.

Their four wins have been against Liverpool, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Chelsea.

Wins over Chelsea and Liverpool have really cemented Arsenal’s title credentials.

Predicted lineups

Wolves have been crippled by a lack of attacking options this season. Summer signing Sasa Kalajdzic suffered a torn ACL in September and has yet to make an impact. He stays out.

Pedro Neto, Raúl Jiménez, Toti and Matheus Nunes hope to miss the game against the Gunners through injury. However, Nunes could face a late fitness test.

Wolves interim coach Steve Davis will be without Diego Costa or Nelson Semedo on Saturday. Both players are suspended with Semedo banned for one game and Costa having been slapped with a three-game suspension for a header.

Mikel Arteta is in good health ahead of the trip to Molineux. Only Emile Smith-Rowe is expected to miss the game through injury.

Wolves’ predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1): Sa, Jonny, Collins, Kilman, Bueno, Neves, Moutinho, Traore, Podence, Guedes, Hwang
