Will a training retreat help Juventus? Claudio Onofri discusses his experience at GenoaJuvefc.com

Juventus are on a training retreat this week until after their game against Torino today.

The Bianconeri must win that game after back-to-back losses to AC Milan and Maccabi Haifa.

They’ve gotten off to a poor start this term and need to get things right sooner rather than later if they want to stay in the title race.

The match against Torino offers them a good chance to get back into form, but the training retreat might not work out the club’s problems now.

Speaking about his own retirement experience as a Genoa player, Claudio Onofri said via Tuttojuve:

“In my time in Genoa, we had a withdrawal of three months in a row, but then we relegated. Withdrawal can only make it clear that you are attached to your work and want to get out of trouble. In practice it has a relative impact, sometimes it can also be counterproductive”.

Juve FC says

When a club is in crisis, it will try many solutions, which is what is happening to Juventus now.

The Bianconeri will hope it works out in their favour, but for now we just need to focus on what it takes to beat Il Toro.

A victory against them will give us a huge morale boost.
