5. Miami Hurricanes – 18

The Hurricanes currently have 18 players who have either been transferred or are on the NCAA transfer portal. The biggest losses to Miami are on defense, where four-star recruits defensive back Avantae Williams and defensive lineman Darrell Jackson left.

Williams is heading to Maryland, while Jackson will be heading to the state of Florida. However, Miami has done well to acquire new talent through the portal. His transfer class is ranked 11th in college soccer according to 247Sports.

4. Arizona Wildcats – 20

After going 5-7 this season, the Wildcats have lost 20 players on the transfer portal. Many of their best portal talents have been stolen by USC. Wide receiver Dorian Singer and cornerback Christian Roland-Wilson are four-star recruits who will now team with Lincoln Riley in So Cal. USC will also be the new home of defensive lineman Kyon Barrs.

Arizona currently has only four portal commitments, which puts them 31st in the country and seventh in the Pac-12 in portal rankings.

3. Arkansas Razorbacks – 21

The Arkansas Razorbacks have 21 players who have transferred or are currently on the transfer portal. That’s enough for them to rank third in most scholarship players lost to portal this season. However, there are still two SEC teams that rank above them in terms of players lost this year.

Arkansas lost a lot at receiving positions after four-star tight end Trey Knox left for South Carolina, and wide receiver Ketron Jackson headed for Baylor.

On the other hand, Arkansas has managed to get some talent. Its incoming transfer class is top-20 in the country.

Florida

2. Florida Gators – 22

Our next SEC team on the list is the Florida Gators. The Gators have lost 22 players to the portal this season. While no four-star or higher recruits have come or gone, the Gators have lost some three-star talent.

Offensive tackle Joshua Braun, running back Lorenzo Lingard and defensive lineman Jalen Lee will leave Gainesville. There isn’t much going the other way, either. Florida ranks seventh in the SEC in transfer rankings.

1. Texas A&M Aggies – 24

After starting the season sixth in the country, and really not living up to the hype, 24 players are leaving Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M program. Life is tough in the SEC, and Jimbo Fisher is finding out about it right now. After having the highest recruiting class in the country last year, he just put together a 5-7 season, which could be the cause of the exodus.

The Aggies lost four four-star recruits to the portal. Cornerback Denver Harris will transfer to LSU, defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye will head to Michigan, wide receiver Chris Marshall will go to Ole Miss and running back LJ Johnson will transfer to the SMU Mustangs.

Texas A&M is also struggling to attract talent from the portal. They are ranked 11th in the SEC in the 247Sports transfer rankings.
