When will Juventus reveal the new board of directors?

When Andrea Agnelli resigned on November 28, Juve’s world was turned upside down. The club’s longtime president stepped down from him along with the rest of the board amid mounting financial and legal troubles.

The club’s majority owner, John Elkann, was quick to name some of his most trusted men in the top positions. Gianluca Ferrero became the new president with Maurizio Scanavino acting as CEO.

The other member who will make up the rest of the new board, however, remains anyone’s guess.

But according to il Corriere dello Sport via ilBianconero, Juventus should reveal the new members of the board of directors before December 24.

According to the source, they will only assume the position once approved at the general assembly meeting that should take place on January 18.

The report adds that Elkann intends to build a large administration comprised of both legal and sports directors.

Juve FC says

In recent days we have been reading all kinds of rumors linking the club to figures such as Giuseppe Marotta and other managers who currently work at other clubs.

But while Beppe is unlikely to return to Juventus, at least in the middle of the campaign, we still hope to witness the long-awaited return of Alessandro Del Piero, who is surely willing to serve the old lady in the midst of her hard times.
