Vlahovic features in Europa League’s most valuable lineupJuvefc.com

Juventus are now a Europa League side after a dismal showing in the Champions League group stage this season.

The Bianconeri have underperformed now and need to start their season the right way sooner rather than later.

As they prepare to take part in Europa League football when club football resumes, one of their players has been named to the competition’s Most Valuable Stars list.

Sky Sport and Transfermarkt through Football Italia have drawn up the starting XI of the competition’s most valuable players based on market value.

The report names Dusan Vlahovic as the most valuable striker remaining in the competition.

They value the Serbian at 85 million euros as he beats out other stars like Cristiano Ronaldo to carve out a niche for himself in the team.

Federico Chiesa (€65 million) and Paul Pogba (48 million euros) are two other Juve players who have a high market value, but were not good enough to be in the starting eleven.

Juve FC says

We now have some of the best players in the world on our team, which is one of the reasons why we are expected to do better than we are now.

Juve are unlikely to win the Europa League unless our performance improves.

Leaving the competition early could be a blessing because then we will focus on the league and maybe the title fight.
