Vincent Aboubakar Gets Send Off in FIFA World Cup Group Stage Win

Brazil vs Cameroon: Vincent Aboubakar received a second yellow card and then a subsequent red card after celebrating his victory against the Brazil national football team in a 2022 FIFA World Cup Group G match by removing his shirt.

Cameroon withdrew from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in style, defeating Brazil, one of the favorites to lift the coveted trophy, 1-0 in their third and final group game.

The Brazil vs. Cameroon match had a team that had already sealed the qualification for the round of 16 and another team that had the opportunity to do so. Cameroon entered the match with one point from two games. A win, which they did take, brought their points tally to four points, but Switzerland’s victory over Serbia in another Group G match ended Cameroon’s hopes of advancing to the round of 16.

After a goalless first half, Cameroon scored the only goal of the match in the 90+2 minute of the match. Brazil desperately tried to get back into the game in the remaining minutes of stoppage time. But Cameroon held on to secure a victory.

The only goal of the match between Brazil and Cameroon was scored by Vincent Aboubakar. Ngom Mbekeli sent an excellent cross into the Brazil box, where Vincent Aboubakar headed into the near corner to put Cameroon 1-0 up.

Mbekeli’s cross was brilliant, and Aboubakar’s header was sensational, dazzling Brazil. Brazil goalkeeper Ederson could only watch as Vincent Aboubakar headed into the net.

Vincent Aboubakar then removed his jersey and walked away to celebrate. That meant that he would receive a yellow card for holding him. As he already had a yellow card in this Brazil vs. Cameroon match, the referee showed a second yellow card and a subsequent red card to send him off.
