Rafa Benítez was a special guest on Sky Sports last night when Liverpool defeated Newcastle 2-0 at St. James’ Park yesterday and although Darwin Núñez and Cody Gakpo produced the goods on the pitch for the Reds, the Spaniard tried his own magic. along with fellow expert Jamie Redknapp and host Kelly Cates in the studio.

The 62-year-old, who has enjoyed successful spells in charge of both clubs as manager, jokingly attempted to insert a graphic onto the screen for those watching from home to see, but had to accept defeat after three unsuccessful attempts.
