Virgil van Dijk dismissed Gary Neville’s joking comment that perhaps the Dutchman regretted joining Liverpool after asking him about any wrong turns in his football career.
The Dutchman insisted the move to Merseyside was “one of the best decisions ever”.
It would be exceptionally difficult to argue with the Dutch international on that front given that he has won every trophy on offer at club level, excelling under one of the best managers in the world.
