Virgil van Dijk returns to the Netherlands hoping to help Liverpool regain the momentum they found after defeating Manchester City and West Ham.
Speaking to the media in Amsterdam, the Netherlands captain said: “We need everyone, all the players, fit players, we need the fans and getting results to gain momentum.”

In fact, this is a team effort and it’s great to hear that our number 4 is ready to fight to get the Reds back in a position we’re used to seeing them in.
A win against Ajax reserves a place in the knockout rounds and should set us up for a successful final a few weeks before the World Cup kicks off.
