Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has given a hilarious reason why he was sent off against Sporting Lisbon.
Tottenham were denied a late win against Sporting Lisbon in the dying seconds as Kane had a goal disallowed for offside.
There was a long VAR review and Conte wasn’t too happy. The Spurs coach received a red card for his actions, and now he has explained the reasoning behind it.

You can understand Conte’s frustration as it would have meant Tottenham qualifying for the next round, but I’m not sure the reason for his expulsion was because he is too popular.
