Gareth Southgate did not hold back in his praise for England star Jude Bellingham, although he wanted to emphasize the player’s mentality above all else when discussing his involvement in the six-goal thriller between the Three Lions and Germany.
The Liverpool-linked midfielder is already the subject of huge interest from top clubs around the world and it remains to be seen where exactly he will choose if a move from Borussia Dortmund is desired next summer.
Interestingly, the Express suggests a swap deal could be arranged between the Merseysiders and the Bundesliga-based side in January to take advantage of Naby Keita’s contract expiry following Bild’s report of interest in the 27-year-old.
One could reasonably imagine that this will come with the caveat that a large lump sum will be attached to the No. 8 in his move to the German top flight should such an arrangement attract Michael Zorc and Co.
