(Video) Salah rattles the crossbar with one of the most aesthetically pleasing first-time strikes

Harvey Elliott’s appearance appeared to reinvigorate his Liverpool team-mates in second half action at Selhurst Park with Mo Salah, in particular, benefiting.

The Egyptian was close to opening the scoring in a game that called for excitement from the initial whistle with a tremendous first-class goal that made Vicente Guaita beat but could not slip under the crossbar.

The Merseysiders had delivered perhaps their most lackluster half of football yet and, in truth, they were lucky enough to face equally disappointing opposition at Crystal Palace.
