The former SL Benfica striker forced an impressive save from Alireza Beiranvand into the Iran goal in what was a dazzling effort from the Liverpool man.

The effort flew into the top right corner of the net before the keeper made what may be one of the best saves of his career.

Nunez began running in a redshirt earlier this season after scoring twice and recording an assist in his first two competitive outings for the Anfield side.

However, on his home debut for Jurgen Klopp’s side, the number 27 was sent off for a header on Crystal Palace’s Joachim Andersen and Liverpool fans haven’t seen much of him since.

We’re sure it won’t be long before we see him perform at his best and find the back of the net on a regular basis.
