Harry Maguire was the subject of constant booing during England’s draw against the United States.
Gareth Southgate’s side struggled to get going in their second Group B game, drawing 0-0 at the Al Bayt Stadium.
It was a pretty boring game with not much happening on either side of the half. There were a couple of entertaining moments, including Maguire’s messi run inside the first ten minutes.
Other than that, Maguire was also the target of an American fan who constantly insulted him.
Several times during the first half, a fan could be heard yelling insults at the Manchester United captain. He must have been sitting near a microphone at the side of the pitch because the ITV 1 broadcast seemed to have picked up the insults from him.
“Damn Harry, fucking Maguire!” The first cry from him was: “You suck!” before telling the Manchester United star to “score another own goal”.
“Why is your head so big?” was the final scream to top off the hilarious trash talk.
“Harry bloody Maguire! You suck!”
“Maguire, score another own goal!”

Maguire, who had blurred vision in England’s 6-2 win over Iran, was one of the team’s standout players in a lackluster performance.
