Manchester City scored twice through Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez to sink Chelsea, who scored a magnificent free-kick.
Mahrez opened the scoring with an excellent free-kick that sent Edouard Mendy wide. Trevoh Chalobah gave away a silly free kick on the edge of the box and would have instantly regretted his decision.
Shortly after, Álvarez jumped into the box to double Manchester City’s lead against Chelsea.
