(Video) Luis Diaz’s highlights prove he was a ray of light for Liverpool in Naples

There weren’t many positives that Liverpool fans could take from the Reds’ dismal performance in Naples on Wednesday night, but Luis Diaz was one of the few in Jurgen Klopp’s side who was able to leave the pitch with his head held high. .

The Colombian ran all night and chased down every last ball despite his team being played out of the park by Napoli.

Even with the Anfield side trailing 4-0 early in the second half, the former FC Porto man showed he was ready not to go down without a fight.

A clip of the 25-year-old’s performance during the second half is making the rounds on social media and highlights how many members of Klopp’s team should take note of the Colombian international’s book.

He scored a beautiful curling effort to cut the deficit to three and pressed for the rest of the game to find another goal with a brilliant heading effort and relentless work down the left flank.

Harvey Elliott also deserves credit for his performance against Luciano Spalletti’s side, but it was our number 23 that made many Liverpool fans proud on what was an embarrassing night for the club.
