Jurgen Klopp was asked to explain the ear infection that sidelined Thiago Alcantara in Liverpool’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.
The German explained that the Spaniard had been transferred to the hospital first thing in the morning to analyze the issue, without success.
The Reds seemed unable to break a low block favored by Steve Cooper’s men at the City Ground without their dashing playmaker and Darwin Nunez (who was left out as a precaution).
