(Video) Klopp brings back post-match celebration for first time since August

Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with his team’s performance against Spurs this afternoon and the German tactician expressed his delight with his trademark raised fists to the Liverpool supporters at the end of the game.

The traveling Kop were in full voice at the final whistle after a brace from Mo Salah gave the FA Cup champions all three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A goal from Harry Kane midway through the second half halved the deficit, but Klopp’s men held their ground and the 55-year-old gave fans his trademark celebration, something not seen since the defeat by Newcastle 3-2 at Anfield in the past. August.

The Merseysiders’ win sees us finish the weekend eighth in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth-placed Spurs, but we have a game to play against Antonio Conte’s men.

Liverpool now have two games left before the World Cup in Qatar kicks off later this month.

We host Derby County on Wednesday night before facing Southampton at Anfield next weekend and Klopp will be looking for another two strong performances to put us in a decent position before the tournament in the Middle East begins.
