At the Stadio Giovanni Zini in Cremona, Juventus Women, champions of the Coppa Italia, faced Roma Women, winners of the Scudetto, for the Italian Super Cup.
The Bianconere took the lead early thanks to a scramble in goal that ended with an own goal from Evelyne Viens. However, a fabulous shot from Saki Kumagai leveled the score for the Giallorosse before the break.
But in the second half, Juve took the title thanks to a spectacular shot by Maelle Garbino.
Club captain Sara Gama and alternate captain Arianna Caruso lifted the trophy after a hard-fought victory.
