By agreeing to pay PSV around £40m for the Dutch international (Sky Sports), Liverpool fans will be excited to see the 23-year-old make his club debut. However, they will have to wait a bit longer as Gakpo is not ready to take on the Foxes yet. However, that hasn’t stopped his new manager from heaping praise on him.

Speaking to Sky Sports before kick-off at Anfield on Friday night, Klopp admitted to wanting the former PSV star for “a long time” and believes the striker offers something “incredibly interesting”.
