(Video) Henderson, Firmino and Jones come painfully close to converting Alexander-Arnold’s corner

Liverpool repeatedly tried to double their lead against West Ham at Anfield, but few opportunities came closer than the chaos that followed a typically brilliant Trent Alexander-Arnold corner.

The ball from our No. 66 almost found Jordan Henderson’s head, then nearly bounced for Bobby Firmino to convert, all before Curtis Jones’ effort sailed over the crossbar.

Fortunately, we didn’t need a second at the end, but it certainly would have eased some nerves to see this one end up in the back of the net.

However, it is great that our right-back is back from injury and we can expect a lot more opportunities to be created now that he is back in the squad.
