Liverpool fans would have been very bummed out by the loss against Arsenal, but the post-match news involving Jordan Henderson is much more worrying, if true.
There have been videos and reports spread on social media that seem to suggest that our captain has been accused of using offensive language towards Gabriel during the match at the Emirates.

The images from the stands show the altercation that took place between the two players, something that caused a rather long pause in the game and the referee spoke with both coaches.
Online reviews have pointed to Granit Xhaka and Bobby Firmino’s reactions as “evidence” that our captain clearly said something that was disturbing to hear, but the video is not conclusive evidence that anything untoward took place.

There is absolutely no place for racism in football, or in society in any form, except for the twisted irony of the man who has been so public in speaking out for change and education on this matter, as well as this that takes place in one of the specially selected ‘no place for racism’ game weeks: no one would miss it.
As reported by BBC Sport, an FA spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool. We are in dialogue with match officials and will review the details of the incident.”
The party line, of course, is to be innocent until proven guilty and the 32-year-old’s record has been nothing short of exemplary to this point, but if anything racist has been said, we would all want and expect nothing less than the strictest punishments available.
