Manchester United beat their old rivals Leeds United 2-0 at Elland Road yesterday.
United’s goals came from academy graduate duo Marcus Rashford and Alexander Garnacho.
Coming off the bench, Garnacho, as he has done on several occasions this season, made an impact on the game, helping United seal all three points.
The Argentine spiked on the end of a Wout Weghorst pass and ran down the wing before firing a shot that hit the woodwork before going into the back of the net.
Erik ten Hag led the celebrations for Garnacho’s goal from the United touchline.
The Dutchman pumped up the air of jubilation and gave Garnacho two thumbs up to congratulate him on his second Premier League goal.
Ten Hag also applauded Garnacho and was joined by other players and staff including Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho.

Following his goal against Leeds, Garnacho has registered the highest contribution of goals as a substitute in the Premier League, two goals and two assists.

After a sub-par performance in the first leg at Old Trafford, Garnacho emphatically silenced his critics, an incredible response from a player with a flourishing career.
No wonder United are working hard to give Garnacho a new contract and secure his long-term future at Old Trafford.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that an agreement to extend Garnacho’s terms is entering the final stretch.
“Manchester United have already sent the new contract proposal to Alejandro Garnacho and his representatives,” Romano said.
“The talks are very advanced.”
