Liverpool fans will be even more grateful for the wonderful team spirit and group of characters that Jurgen Klopp has fostered at Anfield after watching Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest tantrum.
The Portuguese star was seen leaving Old Trafford early, despite his side leading 2-0 before extra time began, in a clear show of disappointment at his lack of minutes.
It was an act of defiance that led Danny Mills to declare him an “absolute disgrace.”
While we can absolutely understand the frustration at not appearing in such an important game, the striker’s actions resemble that of a young child hearing the word ‘no’ for the first time and not a mature 37-year-old role model.

I would never want a player with that behavior in my squad. Ronaldo or not, this is unacceptable. #MUFC #MUNTOT pic.twitter.com/PKiemoi3wt
