What a World Cup break this is turning out to be for Juventus as it looks like they will find even more trouble.
The bianconeri are being investigated by the Turin Prosecutor’s Office for possible capital gains, which has forced Andrea Agnelli to resign as club president.
Their board has also been dissolved and a new one will be formed as soon as January to keep the club fit for a new era.
Now, a new report via Football Italia has revealed that UEFA has also opened an investigation into the club for a possible breach of financial fair play rules and club licensing regulations.
Juve have been accused of making various payments outside of their budget and also deliberately inflating the value of players.
The Bianconeri could face serious consequences and UEFA believes there are strong grounds to bring a case against the Turin club.
Juve FC says
It’s been a disastrous few days for Juventus as they look to stay in business after several legal charges were brought against them.
However, the club insists that they have done nothing wrong, so the fans must trust them until proven otherwise.
The absence of club football has made these developments more pronounced. When the players return to action, we’ll put them aside and focus on the team and their performances.
