UEFA mocks A22 on European Super League after meeting with their executivesJuvefc.com

A22 is fighting to help supporters of the European Super League revive the idea.

Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid remain committed to the deal that brought together 12 clubs to create the idea.

The other nine have renounced their support to swear allegiance to UEFA again, but the trio will continue to fight.

A22 was hired to help keep the project alive and the company recently met with UEFA in search of a more open dialogue.

However, European football’s governing body was not satisfied with the outcome of the meeting and mocked them with a subsequent statement.

They said via Calciomercato: “A22 says that they do not represent the three remaining clubs. They refuse to define what their supposed new approach is. They say they want dialogue. But when the opportunity presents itself, they have nothing to say.”

Juve FC says

ESL is a good idea because we probably need someone to break UEFA’s monopoly.

However, any idea that is accepted to replace or compete against the UEFA model must be much better than that.

Right now it’s hard for fans to support ESL because it’s clearly no better than what’s on offer right now.
