Travis Kelce Announces He’ll Be Hosting Saturday Night Live

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has revealed that he will host one of America’s most popular television shows, Saturday Night Live, in early March, less than a month after winning Super Bowl LVII.

The 33-year-old tight end announced the news during his appearance on the latest episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, just days after his Super Bowl triumph.

It was clear that Fallon was excited about the announcement.

“We have a big announcement that we are going to announce here on tonight’s show. I am very excited about this. You’ll be back in our building in a few weeks. Can you tell why you come? Fallon asked Kelce.

“Safely.” said the Kansas star. “I mean, growing up, I was a great guy, Farley, Farrell, Fallon, the kind of person who grew up and yes, I used to watch Saturday Night Live with my mom.

“And it is an absolute honor and privilege to host SNL on March 4.”

The eight-time Pro Bowler had six receptions for 81 yards in a 38-35 win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He also had a touchdown in the first quarter of the Kelce Bowl against his older brother Jason, who plays center for Philly.
