Tottenham Hotspur may lose their leading man, Harry Kane, as interest from Manchester United is quite high. Kane’s current contract with Spurs runs until the summer of 2024. The striker has started this season scoring 9 goals in 11 games so far.
Spurs are currently in third position in the league table with 23 points, but their recent form is not good enough to challenge for the title. League leaders Arsenal are 4 points ahead of both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

David Ornstein’s opinion on Kane’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur
According to famous football journalist David Ornstein of the Athletic, this is a vital moment in Kane’s career. He can now decide where his next move will be.
While speaking to The Five Insider, Ornstein spoke: “One that I suppose we should keep an eye on for ourselves, and I’m not suggesting anything is brewing, is Harry Kane. It has long been reported that United are a fan of him and an interest is attached to him.”
Now, Ornstein speaks when the possibility exists. He has covered or predicted some of the biggest transfers in football history. He also added: “Kane is under contract until 2024 and there haven’t been many suggestions of a new deal.”
Daniel Levy disappointed the England captain when he stopped the move to Manchester City in 2021. Levy did not accept any offer from Cty to make this move possible.
Recently, Bayern Munich openly flirted with Kane’s move, but Kane played down the rumours.
The Athletic journalist also added: “Moving to Man City never materialized, rumors from Bayern, would United make a move on that?” He also said that Kane will stay if Tottenham Hotspur challenge for trophies. “He wants to succeed with the Spurs.”
But Ornstein also warned that if Tottenham Hotspur don’t improve in the coming years, he could leave as a free agent. But Levy can sanction a move to get a transfer fee from his club’s prized asset.
If this kind of possibility arises, Ornstein’s belief is that the Red Devils will enter the race. With the Cristiano Ronaldo drama, United may run out of scorers in January. Kane is the best immediate option for the Red Devils to ensure consistency in front of goals.
