The undisputed two-weight champion’s first meeting with Chantelle Cameron in May generated the highest box office receipts at the 3Arena for 2023.
The fight night promoted by Matchroom Boxing raised 2.08 million euros, more than half a million more than Elton John raised, in a single night.
The collection was more than 1 million euros more than Chris Brown and Lana Del Rey.
The figures demonstrate the appeal of the Irish star, but are also an indication of how high ticket prices were for the event.
Like Taylor, most of the aforementioned also sold out the Dublin Docklands venue, but the ticket cost less.
Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn has said the prices were necessary to finance a Taylor homecoming. The Essex fight maker has said going to a stadium this summer would lead to much cheaper tickets.
