In the main event, we will see a welterweight thriller that will see undefeated #3 ranked contender Khamzat Chimaev (11-0) fighting from Stockholm, Sweden through Chechnya, Russia fighting perennial fan favorite Nate Diaz (21 -13). out of Stockton, California.
Tony Ferguson sat across from reporters at Wednesday’s press conference, and you can watch the interview in the video above. He talks about his opponent Li Jingliang.
“I remember walking to the ambulance and I was like, ‘Oh shit, yeah, you lost. Fuck,'” Ferguson said. “I went back to the drawing board for two months, I started lifting heavy objects, because I knew what I was going to do subconsciously.”

“I went fishing,” Ferguson said. “What I got was a group of coaches that I believe in. I’ve always been aware of a couple of people. I am like an explorer. I know what the fuck to look for. I have some really good people who are helping me open my eyes to some things that I can’t see, which is trust. It helps to be able to be in an Octagon, train a little bit and get the great training that I really need.”
“Li likes junk, man. Obviously, he knows I like to scrap,” Ferguson said. “We’re going to go in there, we’re going to impress a lot of people, face to face, balls against the walls, and we’re going to go in there and put on some fireworks for you motherfuckers.”
