Mattia Perin admits that Juventus have been below average in recent weeks and that their 2-1 loss to Benfica is simply unacceptable.
The Bianconeri have not won any of their last four matches, and have now suffered back-to-back defeats in the Champions League.
We expected him to be back in form in his match against Benfica. However, that never happened, and instead they lost it.
Despite taking the lead, they allowed the visitors to nullify the result, and it shows just how bad the Bianconeri have been in recent weeks.
After the game, Perin admitted that things have been bad for them recently and a change is needed.
He said, quoted by Calciomercato:
“We started very well, then there was a kind of blackout that happens to us many times. If we knew where it came from, we would have already laid our hands on it. Now we have to shut up and work. This is not good, we have to understand how to intervene, especially in the elderly, to find a solution. There is no other way.”

Perin has been part of Juve’s underachieving side, and he knows they need to do better to succeed this term.
The Bianconeri have one of the strongest squads in Europe at the moment, but these players cannot buy a win.
It’s getting ridiculous and could eventually force the club to sack Max Allegri.
