The timetable for the return of Juve’s World Cup participants

Last week, the Juventus players resumed training in Continassa led by Max Allegri and in the absence of the eleven players who participated in the World Cup.

But with eight of them already knocked out of the tournament, the Old Lady’s ambassadors in Doha should slowly get back to base, and Tuttosport (via JuventusNews24) provides the full schedule.

The first to return will be the Serbian duo of Filip Kostic and Dusan Vlahovic, with the latter undergoing additional tests to give the club an understanding of his current state.

The Serbs were the only Juventus players to exit the tournament from the group stage and should report to training between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kostic and Vlahovic will be followed shortly by Wojciech Szczesny and Arkadiusz Milik, who were dropped shortly after. The Polish duo could make it to the end of the week, joined by USMNT star Weston McKennie, who also said goodbye to Qatar in the round of 16.

Following their dramatic quarter-final elimination at the hands of Croatia, the Brazilian trio (Alex Sandro, Danilo and Bremer) are expected to arrive in Turin after Christmas.

Finally, Adrien Rabiot, Ángel Di María and Leandro Paredes are still in the fight, so they will be the last to join Allegri’s team, presumably just before the restart scheduled for January 4.

Argentina will play Croatia on Tuesday, while France and Morocco will meet head-to-head in the second semi-final matchup on Wednesday.
