The latest update on Alex Sandro’s condition ahead of WC quarterfinals –

At the start of the tournament, Juventus had eleven World Cup ambassadors, but now the number has been reduced to six ahead of the quarterfinals, half of them with Brazil.

On Friday, the Selecao will face the resilient Croatia in the opening game of the quarterfinals. But will Alex Sandro arrive on time?

The Bianconeri left-back started the first two games for the South American giants before suffering a knock against Switzerland, forcing him to miss the round of 16 tie against South Korea.

But according to Ilbianconero, Alex Sandro trained with the rest of the group on Tuesday, albeit partially.

However, this has been seen as a positive sign, suggesting a possible return before the tough game against Luka Modric and company.

In the previous round, his Juventus teammate Danilo replaced him on the left.

Juve FC says

With Alex Telles out of the tournament with injury, Brazil is in desperate need of Sandro as he is the only genuine left-back left in the squad.

Although Danilo is very versatile, his performances drop a bit when he places himself on his least favorite flank.

So if Sandro manages to get back to fitness in due time much to the delight of Tite, we can expect him to start all over again on Friday.
