The background and possible return date -Juvefc.com

Unfortunately for Leandro Paredes, his time at Juventus has not started on the brightest of notes.

The Argentine showed one or two encouraging performances early on, but hardly inspired afterwards.

The midfielder was recently dropped from the starting line-up by Max Allegri and to make matters worse, he has now suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for a couple of weeks.

According to Tuttosport via JuventusNews24, Paredes reported the blow on Saturday afternoon, meaning he suffered the injury during team training on Saturday.

Yesterday, Max Allegri held a session that included those who were not starters against Empoli on Friday, when the team began its preparation for the Champions League away game against Benfica.

Also according to JuventusNews24, Paredes will miss the upcoming games against Inter and his parent club PSG, but could return either in Verona on November 10, or three days later in the home game against Lazio, which will be the last before from the long winter vacation.

Juve FC says

While injuries are always bad news, Allegri has apparently found some footing in the middle of the park without the Argentine. The coach has recently been relying on players like Manuel Locatelli and Adrien Rabiot.

However, Paredes possesses a unique skill set and is arguably the best technical midfielder on our team (apart from Paul Pogba).

Therefore, it is extremely important for the tactician to discover the best attributes of the player during the second part of the campaign.
