AFC Richmond is back in the top flight. However, rival West Ham signed Nathan Shelley as manager. Nate and Lasso left on less than perfect terms, with the former leaving Richmond after a dispute with the latter.

The first chance fans get to preview Ted Lasso’s third season shows the titular character going head-to-head with his now-rival.

It sets up drama for season three, both on and off the field. With millions of fans following the show around the world, there’s a lot to be excited about. However, it might be the last time this kind of emotion exists for Ted Lasso.

The third season of Ted Lasso could be the end

So far, there is no official confirmation about the future of the show. However, looking back at the comments from actors Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein, it seems the show had a three-season lifespan.

Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent, said that the third season was written as the show’s final season. Sudeikis said that he saw Ted Lasso as a three-season arc. With that being said, the star actor would be open to doing more seasons if the opportunity presented itself.

Certainly fans would want more seasons. The lovable cast has something to satisfy all kinds of interests. In many ways, soccer becomes secondary to the relationships and personalities on the show.

There is no official release date yet. However, Apple claimed spring of this year as the release date for the third season of its hit show.
