Super League spokesman says UEFA is stifling innovation

The general director of A22, Bernd Reichart, the company in charge of guaranteeing the success of the European Super League, has launched a new attack against UEFA.

Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the clubs that have continued to support the idea and are convinced that it will succeed.

The protagonists support Reichart’s signature to help obtain decisions in their favor in the European court.

They are also keen to enlist the public support of individuals and clubs across the continent and do not miss an opportunity to badmouth UEFA.

In his latest attack, he said via Tuttomercatoweb:

“Many in football say that innovations are not possible within ECA and UEFA due to the monopoly position. The conflict of interest, the accumulation of roles played by UEFA inhibits development. No suggestions can be made without UEFA threatening sanctions. The clubs are not free to organize themselves”.

Juve FC says

The clubs that support the Super League are working very hard to make the idea successful and we can understand that, considering how much they have lost to get this far.

However, the public must accept it before it can become a success and now that approval is lacking.

Juve were one of the leading clubs when Andrea Agnelli was their president and it would be interesting to see if the new leaders support him.
