Andrea Agnelli has been disgraced from his position as Juventus president due to the illegal financial moves he made in recent seasons.
He is arguably the best Juventus president in living memory, considering the success the club achieved under him in sporting terms.
However, he probably went too far in his quest to bring success to Turin and has now caused trouble, despite the club denying any wrongdoing.
Investigators have amassed evidence against the Bianconeri in a case of account falsification and a statement from Agnelli shows they deliberately bit off more than they can chew.
In an April 2020 summary minute, the former Bianconeri president said, quoted by Calciomercato:
“We have lived beyond our means to become number 1. Big risks taken.”

One thing we cannot say about Agnelli is that he did not give his best for Juventus. Like every human being, he is not perfect, but even in his imperfections, he wanted the best for the club.
He will live on in our memories as a man who ensured the club did well and its players were happy no matter what.
We just need to get over this legal issue and focus on football as the new leadership takes over from the old board of directors.
