Tim Sherwood has told Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford to keep his mouth shut and focus on keeping the Whites in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old Bamford has so far endured a disappointing season after scoring just one Premier League goal in 16 appearances.
The England striker was also very vocal in the run-up to the sacking of Jesse Marsch earlier this year, publicly questioning the American’s tactics, and Sherwood believes the time has come for the 29-year-old to shut down.
“Same as always, they need more goals. Bamford needs to keep his mouth shut and stop talking and start winning football games for the team,” Sherwood said.

“Going back to Bamford, he had a lot to say about Jesse Marsch, he needs to play for the shirt. You don’t have to worry about who’s in charge and you need to work on your performances.”
