Stan Collymore has his say on whether the pressure is building on Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

Stan Collymore has been vocal about whether he thinks the pressure is mounting on Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool after a poor start to the season.

Liverpool have not had the best start to the season and their latest Champions League result could have increased the pressure on manager Klopp.

Liverpool lost 4-1 to Napoli in the group stage opener and many fans and pundits have been discussing whether Klopp has taken this Liverpool side as far as they can go.

However, former Liverpool player Collymore believes that Klopp is not going anywhere, unless he himself decides to leave the club.

“Klopp is not going anywhere. There’s going to be an internal debate now in Liverpool about whether Klopp gets more money or he says ‘you know what, I can’t go through with this’ and I wouldn’t be surprised at some point, that Jurgen Klopp if he doesn’t get a chance to take advantage of the amazing work he’s done. fact, it just says ‘I’m out,’” Collymore said, speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside.

If Liverpool do not choose to back Klopp in the near future, particularly in the midfield position, Klopp may have to make the difficult decision to leave the job.

There is no doubting Klopp’s skill as a manager, but he is no miracle worker, and it is clear that Liverpool need to keep spending money if they are to compete with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
