Although Juventus have scouts spread all over the world, the club usually ends up fishing close to home.
The Bianconeri have a knack for stealing some of Serie A’s best talent, and they could continue the trend by chasing a young defender who is growing up in Spezia.
According to Il Secolo XIX via JuventusNews24, the management has set its sights on Jakub Kiwior and is ready to present a proposal from January.
The young Pole is an Anderlecht youth product, but has been sharpening his tools with the Ligurian side since 2021.
The 22-year-old operates primarily as a centre-back but can also serve as a left-back or even a defensive midfielder.
Being left-footed is surely one more reason for Juventus to seek out the young defender, as the club are currently without one since Giorgio Chiellini’s departure at the end of last season.
The source adds that Spezia has valued its prized asset at 10 million euros. This would ensure them a great fortune, since last year they managed to sign the player for just over 2 million.
However, the report warns that the Bianconeri are not alone in the race for the youngster, with Milan and Roma also keeping an eye on the promising defender.
Interestingly, Kiwior is a native of Tychy, which is also the hometown of Juventus striker Arkaduisz Milik.
