Sissoko insists Juventus league form is something to be happy aboutJuvefc.com

Momo Sissoko admits exiting the Champions League in the group stage is a disaster for Juventus, but believes winning three league games in a row is a positive development.

The Bianconeri beat Lecce at the weekend to return to winning ways after their loss at the hands of Benfica in midweek.

That loss meant they would be playing for a place in the Europa League round of 16 when they take on PSG this week.

However, they have won their last three league games and are making progress to move closer to the top of the league table.

Sissoko believes that winning these league games shows that the team is making progress and he wants that recognized.

The former midfielder said via Tuttomercatoweb:

“In the Champions League, unfortunately, they eliminated us. It is a difficult time, but we must talk about what is going well. Three consecutive wins in the championship have come, it’s a good sign. We look forward to this continuity.”

Juve FC says

Winning consecutive league games is a big problem for this Juve because we have barely done it this season.

Sissoko is right to point out that we should celebrate the small success we enjoy.

It could lift the spirit of the team and give the guys confidence to try to win even more games.
