Shields and Marshall with heated tempers at press conference  – World Boxing Association

The final press conference before Saturday’s fight between Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall was filled with tense moments but also hilarious exchanges between the two champions.

London breathes boxing and the visit of Claressa, champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), IBF and WBC, to face the local, who is WBO champion, promises a great fight on the O2 Arena ring.

The rivalry between the two was more noticeable than ever during their interventions in which they promised victory, imitated each other in a jocular way and made the expectations for the fight continue to rise.

Between laughs and comments, the two made it clear that their goal for the weekend is to win, but also to show that one is better than the other in a rivalry that has been going on for years since the amateur boxing era.

Now they just have to get on the scale and have their last face-to-face this Friday to prepare for the fight, which promises to be exciting and full of strategy.
