Salernitana manager looks forward to the reverse fixture against JuventusJuvefc.com

Juventus and Salernitana played out an eventful 2-2 draw last weekend as the Bianconeri dropped the most points in the league this season.

Juve should have won the match because they scored a winning goal in added time.

However, VAR ruled it out for offside, and that decision has since been shown to be incorrect because there was a Salernitana player keeping Leonardo Bonucci on the side.

The match ended controversially and was a drama-filled encounter between two clubs that are not equal in size or reputation.

There have been calls for the match to be replayed, and the Salerno team coach was asked if he wanted the match to be replayed, Davide Nicola was quoted as saying by Calciomercato:

“The second leg is here and it will be a pleasure to face a great team”.

Juve FC says

We would visit Salerno for the reverse of this match, and that would be a great opportunity for us to show that we are the biggest team.

However, in current form, it is difficult to trust that Juve will win, unless things change.

Our players need to start delivering before we move any further from the top of the league table.
