Salah floors Nathan Ake with an embarrassingly brilliant piece of skill

Liverpool and Manchester City went head-to-head yet again, but for the first time in the last four tries, Pep Guardiola’s side claimed victory, though it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying from the Reds and Mo Salah in particular. .

The Egyptian king started the game brilliantly and a moment within the first 20 minutes of the match resulted in Nathan Ake being brought down for excellent skill.

It was a simple shoulder drop from our number 11 but the Dutch defender couldn’t handle it, confused by the 30-year-old’s move, the former Bournemouth player couldn’t rearrange his feet and ended up embarrassingly on the floor.

It wasn’t the result we wanted from the Etihad Stadium, but hopefully we can return to the Premier League fitter and sharper, ready to beat Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
