Iranian Hulk Sajad Gharibi has kept a low profile since his shocking first-round knockout in his boxing debut earlier this year.
The social media star accused of misleading the fighting world faced more questions than answers after appearing live for the first time in a fight.
“Qazaq Titan”, whose real name is Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich, devastated the Iranian Hulk in the opening session in a woeful performance.

Before that night, the only previous blemish on Gharibi’s reputation was the fight with Martyn Ford falling apart. However, it seems that Gharibi was able to recover from that ridiculous situation.
Ford pulled out of the main event in London after seeing how different Gharibi looked from her Instagram pictures. However, Gharibi was booked for a date from which he could not leave without paying the fine.
The organizers of the Ford vs Hulk event at the O2 Arena ran out of money when their fight was delayed and then collapsed. The producers of Hulk vs Qazaq Titan didn’t let that happen.
They locked the Iranian Hulk in an airtight contract. It meant that Gharibi couldn’t back down without compensating them for his withdrawal.
However, with days remaining, the man who helped Hulk prepare for the fight was worried. He didn’t want the Hulk to fight after failing to improve his boxing skills enough.
sink or swim
This scenario left the Hulk in a sticky situation. He had to take the fight and rely on what little boxing knowledge he managed to put into practice. Alternatively, he could pay the penalty for withdrawing.
They reportedly did not have the funds to do that. Thus, the Hulk went back into a corner, which for him was a matter of sink or swim.
Alarmingly, he plummeted to the bottom of the ocean of combat. It’s a fall from grace not seen by any previous name in powerlifting or strength sports with such a following.
Since the fight, Gharibi has removed all images showing him as a massive force, much of which fans believe was in the face of manipulation.
It appears to be a firm step away from being “The Iranian Hulk” for Gharibi. He still hasn’t posted anything after the debacle of his boxing debut.
Gharibi’s attempts to cash in on the YouTube boxing generation is a lesson for anyone to come.
