Roy Keane given an expectedly hostile Anfield welcome in Legends game

Liverpool and Manchester United Legends met at Anfield and several of the M62 players received the expected welcome, especially Roy Keane.

The former Old Trafford captain entered the pitch as a second-half replacement and his reception was appropriately hostile.

Of course, it’s all pretty tongue-in-cheek, as everyone realizes that all the players are there to raise money for charity.

The union of two rival clubs for a good cause shows that there can be unity in the bitterest rivalries.
