Ronaldo loses first battle in expected legal war against Juventus –

Between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus, a legal war looms on the horizon.

While the superstar has yet to strike a first blow at his former employers, he has already shown his intentions by asking to extract a document from the ongoing investigation file.

During the Covid-19 crisis, the Bianconeri stars parted with their salaries for four months, or at least that’s what the club announced in the balance sheets at that time.

This issue has caused quite a stir, as evidence suggests the players had only given up one month’s salary instead of four.

For his part, the Portuguese expects to receive 19.5 million euros in back wages as part of the alleged agreement signed between him and the club.

But according to Il Fatto Quotidiano via Calciomercato, the attorney general denied the request made by Ronaldo’s lawyer to receive the documents.

The source also claims that the public prosecutor has considered that these private agreements have no value for legal protection.

Juve FC says

While this news comes as a legal blow to Ronaldo and his entourage, we probably won’t hear the last of it.

Meanwhile, Juventus have bigger things to worry about as the entire club finds itself in a bind both financially and legally.
