Romano drops LFC transfer update with Reds making Real Madrid anxious

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Jude Bellingham tops Liverpool’s transfer list as they plan to strengthen their squad.

Reds fans have been clamoring for the club to sign an elite midfielder in the summer, but after failing to do so, it is now believed that Jurgen Klopp’s side will go to great lengths to sign the teenager from Borussia Dortmund.

The former Birmingham City star is attracting interest from numerous clubs across Europe and the Italian transfer hype has provided an update on ongoing transfer rumours.

“I’m sure Liverpool want him, it’s not new – they’ll be looking for a top midfielder and he’s top of the list, but the race is open between many top clubs and it won’t be decided now.”

This season he has done nothing more than reinforce the appeals to Klopp to sign a new midfielder.

Despite the addition of Fabio Carvalho to the squad and Arthur Melo’s transfer deadline from Juventus this summer, the performance of many of our midfielders this season has been a cause for concern at the club.

Real Madrid are one of many other clubs also fighting for Bellingham’s signature, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side are believed to be eager for the transfer due to interest from Liverpool.

Under Klopp’s guidance on Merseyside, there’s no reason why the teenager can’t live up to his promising potential and see his game progress further under the German strategist.

Reports have recently suggested that the club are also weighing a move for West Ham’s Declan Rice and it certainly looks like we have a couple of busy transfer windows ahead of us.
